How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
basis: 3 months and around 300, more if you have scholarship.
if there is money left, the other months are also paid.
What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?
very busy. parties everywhere, nice but expensive, lots of club
Would you recommend the city and the University of Madrid to other students?
yes
What is the food like?
a lot of fried food and big fast food chains
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Madrid?
yes, service costs trough Uniplaces
How much does it cost to live in Madrid?
appartment: +- 500
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
I only do english classes but the teachers speak bad English.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Madrid from your city?
plane, train and car is way to long.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Madrid?
yes of course, but you always have to be careful for thiefs in the clubs.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Madrid?

I don't really go to fancy restaurants because of the money.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
cultural sites? I don't really know any. I do like the information office in Plaza Mayor.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Madrid in the future?
It is a very lively city and nice to live in. The transport is great but always be careful with your belonings, there are thiefs everywhere! :)
