What is the student lifestyle like in Madrid?

Amazing! there many parties and the school is not that hard so you can enjoy la vida loca

Would you recommend the city and the University of Madrid to other students?

definitely YES! Go for it!!

What is the food like?

If you like pork a lot, you are going to love this city! Tapas in every corner at reasonable prices! Sangria!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Madrid?

did not need it. I lived with my boyfriend which already have a house in Madrid

How much does it cost to live in Madrid?

500€ month, more or less counting only food + apartment and bills. If you want to party a lot, think more of 700€ a month

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Did not check. Already speak spanish which for me was really easy to learn since I am Portuguese

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Madrid from your city?

easiest - plane; most economical - train (if book advanced)

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Madrid?

not really

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

i really enjoy the tabaqueira in embajadores and, of course, parque retiro. Bur there are many other places in the city that can easily make other big cities jealous

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Madrid in the future?

go and have fun :) people are really nice!
