What is it like to live in Maastricht? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is a very beautiful city, many students live here but the size is kind of small. I would recommend it for a few months, it might get boring after a couple of years. The architecture is amazing and there are many international students.

Very expensive. Certainly not like London but higher than the European average.

A friend got accommodation for me, so I have no advices.

No special food, I eat my own stuff.

What places would you recommend visiting in Maastricht?

Hoge en Lage Fronten in spring, the main squares and the countryside around.

Sushi restaurants are very good.

Is the nightlife good in Maastricht? Where is good to go?

The nightlife is average. You have a few clubs, and two proper buildings that arrange events, mostly techno music.

What advice would you give future students heading to Maastricht?

Get ready for lots of study, not good weather but beautiful city with nice house parties.
