Because it's got a great location in Europe and the course I do in Brazil is very similar to the one I'm doing in Hogeschool Zuyd

What's the student environment like in Maastricht?

It's sensational, lots of young people, the nights are very animated, great bars, but unfortunately they're a bit expensive.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Maastricht to other students?

Yes, definitely.

How's the country's food?

Good, the desserts are generally good, and they also eat quite a lot of fried food, which is yummy.

How easily did you find accommodation in Maastricht?

The Hogeschool Zuyd helped me, but I had classmates who had problems.

What's the language like? Did you attend a language course at the university?

Everyone speaks English, which helps a lot.

What is the cheapest way to get to Maastricht from your city?

As I live in Brazil, I went by plane, but here people generally cycle to get around the city.

Do you have any advice you'd like to give future students in Maastricht?

Come prepared for the cold and for the expensive living costs.
