Yes, I suppose for students abroad that won’t be easy.

Start looking as soon as possible. If you can not physically do a viewing of your desired room ask for a remote one via Skype for example

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I love Italian food. Luckily there are many Italian restaurants in the city.

What places would you recommend visiting in Maastricht?

Do a citytour with a guide. Visit the churches, visit the barracks and the st. pietersberg.

And just outside the city the american war cemetery is impressive
