Why did you choose to go to Maastricht, the Netherlands?
I chose it because there is a good university.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I received nothing.
What is the student lifestyle like in Maastricht?
Library, library and library.
Few clubs as well, but not the best place to party.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Maastricht to other students?
Yes.
What is the food like?
Good.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Maastricht?
Yes, agency fees are quite high (agency fees are no longer allowed under Dutch law since the 1st of July 2016).
How much does it cost to live in Maastricht?
Depends on the price of your room, but i'd say you'll need at least 300-400 euros for life expenses.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Dutch is quite a hard language, but there are free basic Dutch language courses for first year bachelor and master students.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Maastricht from your city?
Plane + car.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Maastricht?
I don't know. I prefer house parties.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Maastricht?
Fresh (nowadays (september 2017) The Lab)!
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Vrijthof, but the whole town in general is quite special.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Maastricht in the future?
Do come and visit Maastricht for sure, you might like it!
