Life in Lusaka is an urban and city experience were different people of divase background meet. I strongly recommend for others to come through to Lusaka city. Lusaka is friendly and an economically viable city. The people are social and cherish the Ubuntu philosophy.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lusaka?

Life as a student in Lusaka is interesting and enjoyable. Zambian are generally academically hard-working and competition to academically deliver is visibly seen in many institutions of both lower and higher learning institutions.

How much does it cost to live in Lusaka?

The food is not expensive and readly available. Almost all kinds of food is found with several chain and supermarkets around the city.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lusaka? Is there any advice you can give?

Accommodation is affordable and easily found. One has the choice of where they would want to be housed.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The Zambia stable food is nshima which comes with a variety of relish. My favourite dish is pasta and nshima.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lusaka?

As a city, lusaka has casinos, gyms, night clubs etc. I woukd recommend for people coming to Lusaka to visit Chaminuka lodge which is just abit in.the outskirts of Lusaka. The experience is truly good and worth visiting for holiday and recreation.

Is it good to eat out in Lusaka? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is good to have an eat out. My favourite spot is raison blue hotel and wimpy.

What advice would you give future students heading to Lusaka?

Look out to academic challenge and as well as fun.
