What is it like to live in Lugo? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I recommend it 100%. It is a good place to study and to meet people. There is a good atmosphere and it si so nice. Come here and enjoy yourself a lot with big parties every Thursday and weekend, and know people that will be so nice to introduce and teach and show you everything.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lugo?

Here all students are so friendly and close. You can find people everywhere and everybody is so active. There is no problems and you can enjoy doing all kind of things, almost them going party.

How much does it cost to live in Lugo?

You can rent a flat by 150€ per month, it is too easy to find something closer to university and, in any case, this is the cheapest urban transport in Spain (60 cent without discount card).

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lugo? Is there any advice you can give?

You can see advices everywhere when you get town. There are a lot of residences and places to stay too with a very good prize.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can eat everything you want, there is no restrictions. Typical food is "pulpo a la gallega" (octopus)

What places would you recommend visiting in Lugo?

You have to visit the cathedral and you have to go around the wall that is around all city center. According to this you have to do quite kilometers of Santiago's Road ("El camino de Santiago") which is so close there.

Is it good to eat out in Lugo? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

You can eat everywhere and cook yourself too. It is very cheap to eat out.

Is the nightlife good in Lugo? Where is good to go?

This is so so so nice. You can go everywhere without paying the entrance and there is no restrictions, only no smoking inside.

What advice would you give future students heading to Lugo?

Please, mix with local students, they love it.
