Why did you choose to go to Lublin, Poland?

To be honest it was my only destination since I was very late to apply to Erasmus. And it was the best decision ever ☺️

What is the student lifestyle like in Lublin?

Lublin is such a beautiful student city. From different clubs, restaurants, coffee shops, bakerys to beautiful and interesting architecture. You really can see a lot of historical things.
I'm sure that many students want to know about partying and where to go out ? Believe me, you have many different clubs where you will meet students from all around the world. My favourite was El Cubanoo

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lublin to other students?

Definitelly. Firstly I was reslly sceptic about Lublin but when I went there I was surprised by the city. At the end od the Erasmus I didn't want to go, literally I was crying. Also, this summer I'm planning to go to Lublin again since I have met a lot of people there ☺️

What is the food like?

Food is AMAZING. You have many amazing restaurants which are very cheap. Pyzata restaurant is amazing, they have the best burgers and plus they have happy hour ?

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are language courses available at the university. I studied Polish and I really like it. Since I am from Bosnia and my language is Slavic language like theirs it was a bit easier for me to understand it and learn it. But for my other friends Polish was really confusing and hard.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lublin from your city?

I travelled with the bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lublin?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Majdanek and also their castle which is in the center. We couldn't visit it because it was closed because of Covid.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lublin in the future?

Just enjoy in this beautiful city, try to explore it as much as possible!!
