Why did you choose to go to Lublin, Poland?
Its one of the countries where the education is excellent and comparatively the tuition fees is less
and i couldn't think of any other place other than this to pursue medicine
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
wells don't have a scholarship nor i receive any money to help with living cost i work and manage both.
What is the student lifestyle like in Lublin?
honestly, i can't judge much because lockdown has its pros and cons you know but the stress level for any student is very low so you are gonna be just fine!!
Would you recommend the city and the University of Lublin to other students?
yes, I would surely recommend universities of lublin to you all but just make sure you know basic polish to survive in this country because there are just few people who would know english everyone here speaks polish, the signs, notices etc! or you need to have a backup like google translate to get you through daily tasks.
What is the food like?
well get ready for frozen foods, and if you are like me let me tell you that you won't find food without beef or pork in chicken sausages as well.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lublin?
finding accommodation is relatively easy but due to covid restrictions i would recommend booking accommodation in prior and having a a room mate is a must because lublin is a small town and people are not that's friendly and you at some point will require a friend to talk to so try finding facebook groups of the university that you are planning to study at and find people who are gonna be from same country or course it will really help have a good experience
How much does it cost to live in Lublin?
if you come from other european countries the cost for living is not that expensive it totally depend what kind of lifestyle you are into.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
no n ew language is easy and thats okay if your course is long term your university will provide language courses which are obligatory but if its short term you will have to mange to learn it yourself.( online etc)
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lublin from your city?
well, the scooters and bus ( bus passes are cheap for students)
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lublin?
in covid situation there is NOTHING that is open you might have parties in your dorm or with friends but at home and that's why get to know more people through social sites before arriving to lublin this way you will nave friends to spend quality time with.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lublin?
well there are tons of place for eating but only for takeaway but you are gonna enjoy the food here! try hot chocolate in old town its the best.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
nil
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Lublin in the future?
struggles and obstacles are just blocks that will help you climb higher just enjoy each day because its gonna be all good at the end
