What is it like to live in London? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

London is fantastic city which offers variety of events, activities, learning and cultural opportunities and most of public museums and some exhibitions are free to visit. This is a great advantage in comparison to other European cities where tickets are expensive and students and young people avoid going because of money issue. There are also many places for music and entertainment which are not always free but students and young people pay reduced rate for their tickets.
London is cosmopolitan city with so many different ethnic minorities and each. has their distinctive cultural identity. This is the best visible through gastronomy, many ethnic restaurants, food stores and open markets, including the events where diverse ethnic foods are sold. Transport is good but maybe a bit expensive, unless you use Oyster cards and pay weekly or monthly charge. The only unpredictable and not so nice is weather, but that is not what London can organise.

What is the student lifestyle like in London?

Students live usually together at students houses or share private accommodation. They seldom cook because food price is affordable and fit for everybody's pocket. The most important is their learnings, outings, and experiences which London offers in abundance.

The cost is about £800-1200 a month for reasonable and shared accommodation and basic expenses.

Not so much to find accommodation but to find to suit people's expectations. If they wish. to be in central zone t is expensive but little bit outside is cheaper and transport facilities are great. Students should look for shared accommodation too because to. have a flat is usually cheaper to share between 3-4 people and close to universities too. Many universities and colleges offer accommodation too if students book that earlier.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is from all over the world and easy. to find people's favourite dish or restaurant.

What places would you recommend visiting in London?

London is like a city museum, even if you do not go to a specific place you. see the history of the city everywhere. I recommend to visit some of many historic markets because they are full of diversity and food and music everything that London is about.
