What is it like to live in Londres? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

London is a very interesting city. First of all, it is a melting pot with people from all over the world living together and exchanging experiences. There is so much to do here... you can visit a museum, you can try a new pub or restaurant, visit a gallery or just do some window shopping in Oxford Street! And much much more.......

Yes, I would recommend to visit London and spend some time here. It is a very busy city but you will get a lot to do!

The city is very vibrant, beautiful and with access to everything you can dream of.

What is the student lifestyle like in Londres?

London is full of students. There are many student houses and shared flats. I think students enjoy themselves, study and spend a lot of time together.

How much does it cost to live in Londres?

Unfortunately London is very expensive. Accommodation and transport are very expensive for European students.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Londres? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not so difficult as there are agencies, websites and magasines where you can find different options. My advice is, if you like a place you need to act quickly and take it before someone else does it.......

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can find any kind of cuisine and you can try as many restaurants as you like. The options are infinite..... I like Italian restaurants (of course).

What places would you recommend visiting in Londres?

There are so many places to visit. I love the British Museum, the National Gallery but I also like to go to Greenwich or visit the beautiful Kew Gardens. Parks are amazing in London - Hye Park, Richimond Park, Holland Park - and a beautiful place to go with your friends for a picnic.

Is it good to eat out in Londres? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, it is good to eat out and there are many options. I love Italian food, Spanish tapas and vegan restaurants. Try Wholefood in Hugh Street Kensington for some shopping and a bite.

Is the nightlife good in Londres? Where is good to go?

Yes, it is the best. Nightlife is very vibrant. You can choose among a variety of options: bars, restaurants, pubs, clubs, concerts. London is a city that never sleeps with shops open 24 hours in some areas.

What advice would you give future students heading to Londres?

London is one of those cities that is constantly changing with new and exciting things to do every day! So it is worth a visit! :) I would suggest to buy an oyster card (for transport) and go around by tube to save money and move fast around the city. Museume are free to visit, so do not miss the British Museum and the Natural History Museum.......
