Experience in London, United Kingdom by Kajal
What is it like to live in London? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It's really busy, but it's super fun. There's always something to do. You will never get bored. I highly recommend people to stay in London for at least a year. You will get a completely different perspective of life and will feel so motivated.
What is the student lifestyle like in London?
Amazing! Lots of student discounts if you look properly
How much does it cost to live in London?
Well, it depends on where you live. The outskirts are a lot cheaper, such as zone 2, 3, 4, 5. Central is a lot more expensive, but you can find some cheaper shared accommodation. Compared to the rest of Europe though, it is really pricey.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in London? Is there any advice you can give?
No not at all. Just search on the internet. Write on forums and stuff. Don't be scared!
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Lots of food from ALL AROUND THE WORLD. London has so many restaurants you will feel overwhelmed. It's so good for food.
What places would you recommend visiting in London?
There's so many. Hampton Court Palace is beautiful and so are all the lovely parks. Shoreditch is really trendy and lots of cool stuff to see there. Camden is like the alternative district. Visit the museums and art galleries as well. Of course, visit the shopping centres and most famous high streets.
Is it good to eat out in London? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Go eat. Seriously. There's so many nice places.
