What is it like to live in Londres? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

London is a very diverse city and there is something for everybody. There a lot of cafes for all budgets and also the transport cafes, simple looking, not fancy, but they serve great food. The transport system is great, you can get from A to B with ease although there are many ways to get from A to B :)

What is the student lifestyle like in Londres?

I have not started my university yet but London has a great vibe with a lot of culture and events. There is not a dull moment in London. Time Out is the place to be to find out what's going on. There are also free events.

How much does it cost to live in Londres?

It can be pricey, all capitals are expensive but you could find free things. The charity shops (second-hand shops) are amazing, you find real gems and even proper brands.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Londres? Is there any advice you can give?

It can be tricky. I do not have any advice on this but always go to estate agents until you get used to the city before you go on any websites to find rooms. An estate agent is pricier but at least you know what you get.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is great as there is a mixture. I like Italian food like spaghetti Bolognese but I guess it's made the London way. What I like about London is that you can find anything you would like to eat - Japanese cuisine, Asian, European, South-American, you name it and that's great about London.

What places would you recommend visiting in Londres?

Hyde Park, South Bank, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. Even less known places once you have discovered, they become your own landmark, e. g. King's Road.

Is it good to eat out in Londres? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It's great to eat out, but expensive but you can get these little cafes dotted around London which serve great food at decent prices. I have not got a favourite spot.

Is the nightlife good in Londres? Where is good to go?

Yes it's great, however I have not ventured out after hours.

What advice would you give future students heading to Londres?

To balance what's important as London is busy, hectic and full-on and you still have lectures to go to in the morning. Easy to make friends and people are friendly although they may not show it.
