Experience in London, United Kingdom, by Beatrice
What is it like to live in London? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
London is one of the greatest cities I have ever experienced. There are such a diverse range of things to do, such as a fun packed evening watching various shows and musicals on the famous West end stages (personally my favourite experience), and a wide variety of must-see tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend London as a place for young people to go as the city never gets boring. There is always something going on. It is the perfect place for those of you who like a fast paced city life.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food in London is excellent as there is such a diverse range of different cuisines to try. It seems to me that you can get pretty much any type of food that you want. I personally love going to China Town as this area has a very innovative and quirky feel to it. My favourite dish is Chinese so I often go here to eat in a Chinese restaurant.
What places would you recommend visiting in London?
There are plenty of places in London which you have to see during your stay. The architectural buildings are very significant, such as Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, St Paul's cathedral, Westminster Cathedral. There are also a range of interesting museums, such as the Rypley's Believe It or Not! museum, the British Museum, the Natural History Museum..
Is the nightlife good in London? Where is good to go?
London nightlife is one of the best I've ever experienced! I normally go around Leicester Square area as there are always a lot of people there. My favourite clubs in London are probably Fabric (Charterhouse Street) and The Coronet (Elephant and Castle). In 2007 Fabric was actually voted as the best nightclub in the world!
