There is lots of variety, but it does leave a lot to be desired.

What is the language like? Did you attend any language classes at the university?

I didn't attend any language classes before coming to London. People understand that English is not your mother tongue and they usually help you.

What is the cheapest way of getting to London from your city?

By plane.

House parties at friends' houses.
