What is the student life like in London?
It's fantastic!
Would you recommend the city and the university to other students?
Definitely! It is an unforgettable experience.
How is British food?
Awful.
Was it difficult to find accommodation in London?
It was relatively easy to find somewhere.
How much does it cost to live in London?
A lot. 52€ (£45) a week for a Zone 1 to 4 Oyster Card. And, 480€ (£423) a month for a room. Then there is food etc...
How is the language? Did you attend any courses at the University?
No, I arrived knowing practically nothing, only the basics from school, but after about 2 weeks I was able to more or less get by.
What is the most economical way of getting to London from your city?
By plane.
What places would you recommend for partying in London?
Picadilly Circus, Ministry of Sound etc. There are many places to go out.
And to eat out in London? What were your favourite places?
My favourite place to spend the day and eat is Camden Town, sat down close to the river.
How about cultural visits?
95% of museums are free. However you need a lot of time to see even a 5th of all the things.
Do you have any advice for future students going to London?
The beginning is difficult, but after time everything will become amazing.
