Fun in London

The English are known for their special humour that can surprise you as under-handed, reserved or ironic/sarcastic. Do you know "Dinner For One" for example? Sometimes, it's straight comical (see Mr. Bean) or just rough (see below).

Out of nowhere, we saw these Viking boat buses / amphibic vehicles / whatever cruising through inner London with loads of screaming tourists on them. Of course, the Vikings raided England a few times under Harald Hardrada, so the reference makes sense ... still, it was a surprise as such a flashy sight! Some of the tourists even wore Viking helmets!

This nice work of art (the Union Jack) was somewhere in a random window and seemed to be a hand-made mosaic using pieces from magazines glued on stones and put together with some lamps.

This explains itself: T-shirts with funny stuff on them for tourists (or anyone else sharing this sense of humour). *DOWNLOADING* oh well ...

This one was more of my taste: Evolution going backwards because of too much technology and too little sports and /or thinking? If we want to avoid Terminator-like or zombie-like scenarios, maybe we should focus on holistic human education including health and critical thinking before looking fot technical solutions for infinite progress as we have limited resources anyway? And yes, your English changes if you drink ... for the better or worse depends on how you like to see yourself. Cheers!
