What is it like to live in Lodz? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Lodz, one of the most beautiful and charming places in Poland, it's like a lady with big eyes, blond hair and a smile to every one in her way, Lodz is a place where you can keep your mind calm, see kind people. Lodz is big than to say in few lines, visit in see with your eyes.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lodz?

Lodz gives students wonderful condition to go on the study, fulling with entertainment places, shops, specially I like walking from dorm to Piotrkowska street every day after lectures and visit Manufaktura.

How much does it cost to live in Lodz?

Eating, living in renting room in dorm, travel every week in Lodz, monthly 400 €.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lodz? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not difficult to find accommodation in Lodz, by internet you can find what suits you from 150 € to 600 € rent for places. Its up to you, your ability, and what you looking for.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I love the "North Fish" dishes, pizza, kabab, kanapka with chicken, juices, salads...

What places would you recommend visiting in Lodz?

Piotrkowska, Manufactura, Charming Church everywhere, Herbale Museum, cemeteries, every place in my eyes deserves to be seen, even the bus station, schools, enjoy your life there.

Is it good to eat out in Lodz? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It's good to eat out in. Many places, Galeria, Manufactura, Club19 in Piotrkowska...

Is the nightlife good in Lodz? Where is good to go?

Every place is good, but I prefer Manufactura and Piotrkowska, the most place fulling in live every time and you will never feel how long your walking, shopping, eating, hours like minutes. That happen to me.

What advice would you give future students heading to Lodz?

Enjoy your time even if you do not know any word in Polish, you can go out and have anything, people around you will smile and help you. Go everywhere, don't waste your time in your room, Lodz is waiting for you to show you the really lovely people and peace everywhere.
