What is it like to live in Lodz? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Łódź has been a centre to my Erasmus, I've been to warsaw, Kraków, torun, Gdańsk but for students, Łódź is the best because of prices and ease of transportation
What is the student lifestyle like in Lodz?
It's really nice, the people are helpful but the problem is with language barrier. And if you make polish friends fast, it won't be an issue
How much does it cost to live in Lodz?
I spend around 300€ a month to live in Łódź easily and being able to save for parties and extra money
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lodz? Is there any advice you can give?
For Politechnika students, no because of the student dorms and even if you don't want to live in student dorms there are lot of places available to rent
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is good, but as I'm indian and I like spices some of the food isn't that spicy but it's tasty. My favorites are pierogis and zapiekanka
What places would you recommend visiting in Lodz?
Piotrowska, Churches and every place you can explore from google maps
Is it good to eat out in Lodz? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes it is, but I prefer to cook and eat at home, saves me money
Is the nightlife good in Lodz? Where is good to go?
Night life is best in piotrowska, the clubs, pubs, bars, street lights and a lot of new memories to make, like biblioteka, prywatka, lumi,vodka i piwo pijalnia etc.
What advice would you give future students heading to Lodz?
Just come prepared for a whole bunch of fun
