You have to try some Polish and Jewish meals (e. x. Jewish meal in Anatewka, the greatest pancakes in Manekin).

Is the nightlife good in Lodz? Where is good to go?

You just have to go to Piotrkowska street, the majority of clubs and pubs are there. It's really comfortable. I recommend: Pub Biblioteka, Spinka Club, Owoce i warzywa, Club DOM, Cokoo Club, Riff Raff Club.

Lodz is not the most beautiful and safe city in Poland, but there is specific and original climate, which can enchant you.
