Why did you choose to go to Lodz, Poland?

I chose to go to Poland because it's in the centre of Europe and you can travel at low cost to many other places.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I didn't receive any money due to economical issues in my country, so my parents are helping me.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lodz?

It depends on the Faculty you are. For example, I'm in the faculty of educational sciences and it is reeeally easy, classes max 2-3 days per week but others like economics are harder.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lodz to other students?

I would highly recommend the city and the university of Lodz to other students as it is the best option among other cities in Poland.

What is the food like?

To be honest, I haven't tasted Polish food so far as it is too heavy for me.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lodz?

I am living in a private dorm which is 5 minutes from the centre so, but I found it on the internet.

How much does it cost to live in Lodz?

If you are living in the uni's dorm, it's around 65-100 euros all you need is around 200-300 euros max for travelling and personal expenses.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

People in Lodz aren't well known for their ability to speak English. But you can take Polish courses which are offered for free at the University.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lodz from your city?

The easiest way was by airplane (Greece-Warsaw) and from Warsaw to Lodz by bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lodz?

Klub Czekolada, Magazyn 82, BRICKS, Manu cafe.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lodz?

In general, you can find anything in shopping centers but my most favourite places so far are Presto, Manekin, Solo pizza, Kebab house.
