How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

5 months. 345 euro for month from Erasmus scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lodz?

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lodz to other students?

Of course, go there and have lots of fun.

What is the food like?

You gonna eat so much cabbage as side on plate but you can find international food so easy and foods are so good. Also, Polish pierogi is really delicious.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lodz?

I stayed in dorms, and it cost around 80 euro per month, very cheap.

How much does it cost to live in Lodz?

Depends on what you are doing, everything is cheap there but if you are going out every night and drinking so much, you gonna spend max 750 euro per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

Yes, there is a language course but Polish is so hard.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lodz from your city?

If you live in Germany the answer is PolskiBus, if not you have to find cheap flights.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lodz?

So many pubs and clubs in Lodz, Bedroom is quite good and Lordi's is also attractive.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are no culturel sites, only Manufaktura that is a shopping mall, which used to be a huge factory in the 18th century.

Is there any other advice that you could give to future students who are going to Lodz?

All cities are really nice in Poland, just choose Poland and go, you will never regret it.
