How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I received something like 212 euros per month and it was enough to pay for everything because Zloty is worth less than Euro.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lodz?

It's very dynamic, I enjoyed the school and there are always parties happening everywhere.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lodz to other students?

Yes, I would, but be aware of the weather, it can get very cold, so enjoy every second of it!

What is the food like?

Besides the pizzas and kebabs, what I liked the most was the krem z kalafiora and kapusty, but yes, is just me.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lodz?

Uhm. At the beginning a little bit but I was lucky because some guys met a Polish girl and she helped us with it. But if you preserve your privacy, check if the room has door, mine didn't have. But in the end I moved to my school´s dorm and I loved it.

How much does it cost to live in Lodz?

Not much compared to countries with euro. It's cheap. For one or 2 weeks your food bill can be something like 50 zloty and it's like a bit more than 10 euro. But it depends.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language courses are available but Polish is not an easy language... not at all.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lodz from your city?

From Portugal to Poland I travel by plane (to Warszawa) and then train to Lodz.
