Why did you choose to go to Lodz, Poland?

I'm not sure why I have choose Lodz. I think because I really wanted to visit a new country, and it's a cheaper country haha.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I have the scholarship for 5 months, so for 1 semester. I received 230 euros every month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lodz?

For sure you have to go to the classes and study, but there are a lot of places and events organized for students and they are really nice.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lodz to other students?

Because it is a university city, with a lot of students from different countries, and the university is really good, starting from the teachers to the courses in English.

What is the food like?

It depends. I like some Polish traditional food, but not everything. But anyway, you can find almost everything in the supermarket.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lodz?

Ohh no! It was so easy. There are a lot of groups just for students on Facebook and on the internet to find accommodation. You can choose it from internet or if you don't trust it you can just see the places when you will arrive here. I have found my perfect accommodation in two days.

How much does it cost to live in Lodz?

Nothing! For people like me who have the Euro, here the life is cheaper!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, everyone in the university speaks English and if you don't know really well the language, don't worry. And yes, there are language courses available at the university.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lodz from your city?

For sure buses and trams. They pass every 5/10 minutes and arrive everywhere!

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lodz?

In Piotrkowska. It is the main street in Lodz and almost all of the pubs and discos are there. And they are so cool.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lodz?

It depends on what you want to eat haha but there are some good restaurants here.
