For the school Politechnika which offers a large range of classes (in English! ).
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
5 months. 500€.
What is the student lifestyle like in Lodz?
- Partying.
- Getting cold.
- Travelling through Poland (and neighbour-countries).
Would you recommend the city and the University of Lodz to other students?
Yes. Very good transports to travel, next to Warszawa.
What is the food like?
Cabbages, soups, dumplings, very good :)
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Lodz?
No, it is very easy to find, either student room or a flat.
How much does it cost to live in Lodz?
Per month : 800€.
I have my own flat, which is quite big and hard to heat.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Not that easy. Yes there are classes at the uni.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Lodz from your city?
Flying.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lodz?
Esplanada (on Piotrkowska).
