Erasmus experience in Lodz, Poland

Why did you decide to go in Lodz?

I chose a differt destination to see a different culture.

For how much time is the erasmus scolarship? How much money do you receive?

I have a 6 month scolarship and i receive 230€ per month. Now i decided to stay more, but those one are not paid.

How is the student enviroment?

It's really really great, i study in TUL. The buldings are brand new and well organized.

Do you reccomend the city and the university of Lodz?

Yes, i do.

How is the food?

It's not bad, i tought it was going to be worse.

Was it difficult to find an accomodation?

Absolutely no.

How expensive is to live there?

It depends on how many parties do you go to. But the stuff is usually cheaper then Italy.

How is the language? Did you study it at the University?

No, i speak a good english and the courses are in english. I don't care to speak polish. But you should download a transaltor.

What is the cheaper way to arrive in Lodz?

By plane.

Which places do you suggest for the night?

All the good places are in the main road, Piotrkowska.

Best places where to eat?

There are a lot of traditional restaurant, or example Bierhalle Esplanada. ALso in Manofactura.

Cultural places to visit?

There are not so many, i suggest you to go in Varsavia and Cracovia.

What will you recomend to future students?

I liked it, so i suggest you to go there. It's not as hot as Spain or Portugal but it's a good experience that opens your mind. But you have to be sure!
