Why did you choose to go to Lleida, Spain?

My University had links with Lleida University and the school.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I went for 6 weeks and spent 4 and a half in a school for my teaching placement.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Lleida to other students?

Definitely, get involved with lots of other students, from Lleida and Erasmus as there's always something going on.

What is the food like?

The food is amazing, love Tapas now! And there's always a variety of food from different countries in most places.

How much does it cost to live in Lleida?

It depends where you live, I lived in the residence which was reasonable.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

At first it's a little difficult but when you're totally immersed into it, you start to learn a few words and gradually understand what people are saying.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Lleida?

Fissure was good, most pubs seemed busy and fun to go to.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Lleida?

La Impremta and most of the little cafe's all do great food. On Quedem does huge pizzas, sandwiches and burgers and is fairly cheap.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Seu Vella is a must!
