What is it like to live in Lleida? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's not a big city but that's why you can get to know it all, from the bottom to the top (literally). I'd absolutely recommend it. It's such nice place to live, flats are cool, citizens are friendly and helpfully. Always is sunny and days lasts forever.

What is the student lifestyle like in Lleida?

Well, from the college point of view, lifestyle is really cool here. All Erasmus students are under umbrella of coordinators and professors. Classes are interesting, entertaining and involving, people are great and system is well organized.

On the other hand, after school students lifestyle can be either calm and pretty or crazy and awesome. It depends from society your in touch with. I enjoy either Erasmus students company or Spanish students, it doesn't matter, all of them are lovely, helpful, friendly, organized and cool.

How much does it cost to live in Lleida?

It's pretty expensive for Polish girl. Can't really compare then. But if you manage your money responsibly you gonna be alright.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lleida? Is there any advice you can give?

No, accommodation in this town is available in every part of town in every season. Flats are wide and nice kept and not too expensive I have to say.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can find everything from the most popular fast food to great spanish, italian, chinese restaurants. There are plenty of small markets with internationally known branches and more local ones. Personally I cook for myself so prefer polish kitchen with oriental borrowings.

What places would you recommend visiting in Lleida?

• Seu Vella, Castle de Gardeny to sightsee and landscape admiration.
• River bank to relax.
• Loch Ness pub to drink.
• Fisure club to enjoy Saturday nights.

Is it good to eat out in Lleida? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I don't know.

Is the nightlife good in Lleida? Where is good to go?

It's great. Parties starts after midnight and last 3-4 hours. There are couple of good clubs like Next, Fisure or Larida. Most of them are with free entrance and not expensive drinks, with good range of music and many crazy people.

What advice would you give future students heading to Lleida?

Come and enjoy yourself. Find a flat close to your department. It's handy!
