Arriving!

Labas! Mano vardas Rocio, I´m 25 years old anda I finished this year my studies of Social Word  and I love travel and meet a new people, so this adventure is for me!

My adventure started the in Kaunas, a small town full of charm! They are cities with charm hard to explain, and as they say in Spain, but a picture is worth 1000 words, so I hope you can aprecir with my photos the real beauty of these wonderful cities of Lithuania. Kaunas for me is a quiet ity but which you fall in love on sight, can find all kinds of adventures in it, from great shopping to a quiet walk in the park ... it's beautiful! Here I met some other volunteers, German , Portuguese, French ... in our first meeting, it was a bit hard experience, for the language, but the warm welcome and kindness of other volunteers and mentors help a lot. Here you spend 3 wonderful, full of laughter, surprises and emotions several days. After this we went by bus to Prienai, my host city :) this is where I will spend the 11 months of this great adventure, my home, my workplace ... to say Prienai? Well let's say we can define as a very very small town, which concentrates everything on a main road, is a good place to live, but too small, fine for weekdays but not to spend the weekends weekend although this small town has nothing to envy because we can find natural landscapes that would surprise anyone and really friendly people, my work in Home Care Globes Namai is wonderful, the functions of these workers are priceless! The place is beautiful and the People are interesting increiblemnete, it only took one month but the word is admiration for these people and their work, I'm really happy in my work and my mentors Raimonda and Elena are amazing people who make you feel at home! After apaenas 3 weeks in Prienai We organized another meeting, but now in Vilnius, you can imagine? You can go even better? You are right! We were 4 days in a field house with more volunteers, and the experience was incredible good, new people, lots of access activities, excursions ... here I met wonderful people and I saw my friends in Kaunas, after these four days spent 3 other adventures vivinedo all volunteers in the city center of Vilnius, parties, excursions, a grueling adventure crazy ... but I'll repeat, I'm sure!
