I recommend Linz because it's a beautiful, cozy, little city in upper Austria. The architecture is typical for Austria.

It's better in Vienna but there are still some good parties, though.

Living in Linz is like the average of Austria, but it's definitely cheaper than Vienna.

No, there are a lot of cheap apartments and student shared flats.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Austria has awesome food, so of course it's good. My favourite dishes are apfelstrudel, schnitzel and kaiserschmarrn.
What places would you recommend visiting in Linz?
Ars Electronica Centre, Brucknerhaus, Plus City (amazing to do shopping).
Is it good to eat out in Linz? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Das Grüen Krokodil offers good vegan, vegetarian and normal food for affordable prices.
