Why did you choose to go to Leiria, Portugal?

I chose for Leiria because the University was very welcoming and open for students from foreign countries. They really do their best to make you feel at home. Communication was possible in English and French.

What is the student lifestyle like in Leiria?

The students are really welcoming to students from foreign countries. You're always welcome to join them and are very helpfull.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Leiria to other students?

I would really recommend the city and the University of Leiria. They do their best to make you feel at home and are always ready to help you.
The city itself is very charming and there are quite some activities to do around there. Lot's of facilities to have a good meal for a good price.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Leiria?

There are a lot of accommodations available in Leiria but i do suggest to look for one on time because there are a lot of students.
I myself found my stay at AirBnbb because i stayed for a rather short time.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Leiria?

The restaurant i would absolutely recommend is "Mata Bicho". It's very charming to sit, good service, great food. And for those who like to watch football, they have a giant screen and they'll turn it on if you ask them.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The castle of Leiria is a very nice place to visit.
