Master Thesis in Noordwijk and Erasmus life in Leiden
I've spent 6 months in this wonderful town: Leiden!
Before I'd arranged my Erasmus with the company where I've wroten my Master Thesis as an Intern I've never heard about this town... but now I'm glad to have popped in there.
It is a small warm and cozy place, easy to live and very well connected; it is full of canals and wind mills; the center is decorated throughout with surprising 'wall poems' written in many different languages.
It is also a multicultural place because many students go there since Leiden University is the oldest university in the Netherlands with one of the higher rank in the NL.
From what I heard from other erasmus students there are very good Faculties in Law, Social and Behavioral Science, Humanities, Linguistic, Governance and Global Affairs, Biology, Medicine.
The company where I was hosted was located in a countryside, Noordwijk (20 minute by bus).
I would hardly suggest people to do an Erasmus because is an experience that enrich you more that you can immagine and create very strong connections with people from other cultures.
In particular, I would suggest Leiden because here the level of culture is very high so it's easy to meet people that has sth to share, from whom you can take inspirations and gain motivation.
While I was there I haven't missed the opportunity to visit its beautiful and famous cities and attractions.
Such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft, The Hague, Scheveningen and Keukenhof.
