It's one semester long.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Leicester to other students?

Yes, absolutely! The city is really nice because it's easy to meet new people and there are several places to go out.

The University of Leicester is also very pleasant, buildings are nice and the atmosphere is perfect to both work and have fun.

What is the food like?

From the perspective of a French student, the food is not really good; it is similar to American food (burgers, pizzas... ). However, in Leicester, you can find very good Indian restaurants, because Leicester is the capital of curry.

Was it difficult for you to find your accommodation in Leicester?

It took me a lot of time!

How much does it cost to live in Leicester?

Life in England is more expensive than in France, but you can find "cheap" accomodations if you live in a shared house, for example. It is much cheaper than the University's accomodation.

If you live in a house with other students, it will cost you around £350 per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

Yes, the language is easy to get to grips with.

I think there are courses available in other languages, such as French and Spanish.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Leicester from your city?

You can get there by plane or by train.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Leicester?

In Leicester, there is a big Erasmus community, so they usually go out in pubs, such as "Revolution" or in night clubs, such as "O2 Academy".
