Great! lots of cheap places to eat and a realy cozy city. Lots to do in Leeuwarden or in the surrounding city's . Other great city's of The Netherlands are close. You can reach Amsterdam by train in less than 3 hours.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Like Dutch food and thats nice :P Favorite dishes: pancakes, 'stamppot' etc.

What places would you recommend visiting in Leeuwarden?

'Fries museum', a museam tells the history of Leeuwarden. 'Broodjeshuis' and 'De dikke van Dale' nice places to lunch and drink during daytime

Is it good to eat out in Leeuwarden? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yeah it's realy good! and not that expensive. My favorite spots 'De lachende koe' & 'Onder de kelders' & 'de Walrus

Is the nightlife good in Leeuwarden? Where is good to go?

Nightlife in Leeuwarden is realy good specially on thusday, friday and saturday. One street in Leeuwarden contains a lot of place to go. Street called: de Doelesteeg. Other nice places to go: Club Red & cafe scooters.

What advice would you give future students headed to Leeuwarden?

The people are nice and mostly of the time they speak english, don't hesitate and ask :D
