How do you feel about living in Lausanne? Do you recommend it? How is the city?

Lausanne is an extremely pleasant city, the landscape is beautiful, the city is green and breathes, it feels home right away and there are absolutely no problems regarding security. Moreover, the possible activities are numerous especially during summer with the lake, and there is much to discover, I really recommend it.

How is the student atmosphere in Lausanne?

It is a student city, as there are many and there is a real student life on the campus, but also in town, student evenings are numerous; there is always something to do, we don't get bored.

What is the cost of living in Lausanne?

Lausanne is a city in Switzerland relatively expensive, especially when it comes to food.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Lausanne? Do you have any advice?

It's hard to find housing, there is a shortage but foreign students still have the opportunity to enroll in student residences.

How is food in the city? What are your favorite meals?

There are all kinds of food from all over the world, but my favorite dishes remain traditional Swiss with cheese, raclette, fondue... etc.

What places do you recommend to see in Lausanne?

Lausanne Flon, the train station, Ouchy, St-François cathedral, the lakeside, the Lavaux vineyards, and take the boat to see the city from the lake.

What places do you recommend to go to Lausanne?

Lausanne Flon, places where most bars/nightclubs are.

What advice do you want to give future Erasmus students in Lausanne?

In order to avoid problems during your stay, keep interested in all the rigorous administrative procedures before coming to finish them upon your arrival.
