Yes, I would recommend l'Aquila, it's a pretty city surrounded by mountains, full of green panorama.
It's very quiet, but it's also full of university students! It is very cold in winter.
How much does it cost to live in L'Aquila?
L'Aquila is one of the main university city in the region of Abruzzo, it's quiet, but, on Thursday evening, it gets crazy! All the bar and pub are full of students, for the "University Thursday", it's like a "Holiday" for all students here!

It's not very expensive. A room could cost from 150 euros (in particular for shared room) to 230 for month.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in L'Aquila? Is there any advice you can give?
It's not very difficult, you can find a room very easily.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
You can taste "Arrosticini" the typical local food, and a lot of good meals! You are in Italy, gastronomy is awesome!
What places would you recommend visiting in L'Aquila?
I will recommend you to visit: Il duomo, la basilica di collemaggio, la fontana delle 99 cannelle, and nature in general!
Is it good to eat out in L'Aquila? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Eat out it's not very easy here, I don't like! I prefer make dinners at my home. But I reccommend to NOT TAKE ASPORT PIZZA IN L'AQUILA, trust me...
Is the nightlife good in L'Aquila? Where is good to go?
On the thursday night is very good, there are a loto of pretty bar like the Tiki tiki, Anbra, Public enemy, Andalucia, Heineken bar...
What advice would you give future students heading to L'Aquila?
Take a breath, take your boots and comfortable clothes and get enjoy! It's an amazing city if you want have fun!
