Cinque terre, The city of five towns, and one of the most beautiful parts of the world I’ve been to. We stayed in the smaller town of Corniglia. You can buy a pass to use the train to access all five cities along the water. Monterosso, the bigger town, is full of tourists but has a sandy beach with the clearest water I’ve ever seen. The food in Italy is amazing, but especially in these towns. There’s a trail you can walk to access all the towns with amazing views of the water. Each village has ocean access, either through rocks, boat docks, or sandy beach. If If you like beaches I highly recommend visiting this area of Italy. Along the Mediterranean Sea, there’s Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and “the big mother” Riomaggiore.
