It's great to live in La Rochelle because it is a small town so you can do anything just walking ! You also know every body so it's more friendly. I recommand it if you come with some friend it could be amazing ! The city is simple but the old city center is just amazing .

What is the student lifestyle like in La Rochelle?

It depends on which university you go but I could say that is really active there a lot of things to do when you are a student!

How much does it cost to live in La Rochelle?

It's less expensive than any other cities such as Paris or others big cities but sometimes you can found things way more expensive than normaly

Is it difficult to find accommodation in La Rochelle? Is there any advice you can give?

No it's not that difficult ! I recommand that people go on facebook groups so they can see accomodation from other student that are less expensive. It's better to compare all the accomadation before choosing one.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is tasty especially if you like fish ! There is a lot of sea food which is fresh and great. Then there is all the french food as usual..

What places would you recommend visiting in La Rochelle?

I recommand to go to the aquarium, to the towers and the city center. But also there are a lots of park to admire and lakes also !

Is the nightlife good in La Rochelle? Where is good to go?

It's great and secure ( if you are with friend ) and it's not expensive !
