How did you find living in the city of La Rochelle? Do you recommend it? How is the city?
It's a city of a manageable size where it's possible to obtain very interesting student rates for the Coursive's spectacles. It's a seaside city with a large access to nautical sports. There are lots of opportunities offered to students: either related to study, sport or leisure.
How is student life in La Rochelle?
There is a friendly atmosphere, where it's easy to get to know people.
How are living costs in La Rochelle?
Benefit from a shared house as it's less expensive. It's possible to do your food shopping at a low price: Leader Price. or Carrefour Contact. You can do anything by foot so there isn't much of a transport cost.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in La Rochelle? Do you have any advice to give?
The intermediary organisations work very well: Erasmusu, Studapart or Appartager.
How is the city's food? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is cosmopolitan: fast food, Asian food, pizzerias, kebab shops... I don't have a favourite dish. I like variety.
What places do you recommend to see in La Rochelle?
The edge of the ocean - it's very well done up; the two towers.
