There are plenty of students around the University, lots of parties. Overall, very good with a very diverse range of cultures.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Kingston Upon Hull to other students?

I was working as a Spanish Assistant in a local secondary school, however I met a lot of friends from the University of Hull. In the opinion of my friends the university is a great place to study and to have a social life.

What is the food like?

You can get almost everything you want from the different supermarkets like Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Lidl...
The restaurants are good value for money. You can find some of them at the bottom of Newland Ave, close to the University.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Kingston Upon Hull?

No. There are a lot of accommodation companies very close to the university.

It depends on the accommodation, rooms range from 240 per month to 400. Hull is one of the most cheapest places to live in the u.k.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available in the University?

Hull has a unique accent but with the amount of students around this does not matter so much. People at the University come from all over the world. I do not know about courses in the university, but there should be.
There is an academy Hull College in the town centre.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Kingston Upon Hull?

Asylum, the student night club.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

"The Deep" is a submarium. It is basically an aquarium but submerged below sea level.
