It's a reasonably small city with a great sense of community within the university.

I think the students here are a close-knit community. We have a great student union, plenty of student nights in the bars and lots of societies to join so you can meet new people.

How much does it cost to live in Kingston Upon Hull?

Hull is actually one of the UK's cheaper cities with good prices on student housing.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kingston Upon Hull? Is there any advice you can give?

The university hosts an accommodation fair every year where all the reputable landlords and housing companies go and you can book viewings etc.

What places would you recommend visiting in Kingston Upon Hull?

The Deep, Hull truck theatre, Welly, Pearson Park...

Is it good to eat out in Kingston Upon Hull? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Princes Avenue has some really nice restaurants serving food from a variety of different cultures, also Wetherspoons is very cheap for food too!

Is the nightlife good in Kingston Upon Hull? Where is good to go?

The nightlife in Hull is brilliant for students with all of the popular bars doing special student offers and nights. Welly is a really popular one, with great drinks offers, awesome music and cheap entry!

What advice would you give future students heading to Kingston Upon Hull?

Join a society and meet some new people! We have the Languages Society which is good for Erasmus students who speak more than just English, or if you want to come and meet English people who know what it's like to learn a new language!
