What is it like to live in Kathmandu? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

As it is a capital city of Nepal everybody wants to live here . Urbanisation, employment telecommunications,health , education ,transport facilities are easily available out here. Life is quite comfortable . Beautiful and artistic temples,monuments,gumbas are the central of attraction .

What is the student lifestyle like in Kathmandu?

As far as my experience students are living their life in a complex way . Students from all book and corner are here . They are working hard for their education . Along with there study they earn their living too.

How much does it cost to live in Kathmandu?

As we all know kathamandu is one of the expensive city in the world its very costly . Around 15 thousend rupees can be the expenses per month for a person .

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kathmandu? Is there any advice you can give?

People from all around Nepal are in Kathmandu so it's really hard to find accommodation . I think hostel for students must be provided .

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

We can taste food from all around the world .
Momo mushrooms chilies are my favourite food

What places would you recommend visiting in Kathmandu?

Pashupati Nath temple, Dachinkali Temple , Narayanthan , Swyambhunath Stupa, Bauddha stupa, White Gumba ?Kathmandu durbar square , Patan durbar square , Bhaktapur durbar square , National museum are the major center of attraction in Kathmandu.

Is it good to eat out in Kathmandu? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes its good to eat in Kathmandu . Alinas' Bakaery Cafe, Chinese Kitchen Pako New Road ,

Is the nightlife good in Kathmandu? Where is good to go?

Night life is not so secure in Kathmandu . Thamel can be the best to go during night .

What advice would you give future students heading to Kathmandu?

As you are coming to Kathmandu as a student first be sure about your destination . Think before you move your every step . Life in Kathmandu is not that much as you think .. Best wishes
