What is it like to live in Katmandú? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

i would like to say that about the current situation living style of kathmandu there are over population, traffic jam, difficulties to get bus, water shortage and foodstuffs are becoming expensive even the rate are totally different in same product,increasing the unemployment rate, difficult to find accommodation. What I want to recommend this situation, Government should certify same rate in the same goods or should put price tag, need to increase the number of bus. The city like is... there are alot temple, all the infrastructure development.

What is the student lifestyle like in Katmandú?

The student lifestyle is in kathmandu, to be fact they are just as a student, there is no work for student..in rare case student can get work in kathmandu... if you have strong financial status you can study in Kathmandu otherwise it will be a hard to survive in Kathmandu for student..

How much does it cost to live in Katmandú?

Its not expensive to live in kathmandu. i think Its around 300 euro is enough for 1 person in per month

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Katmandú? Is there any advice you can give?

no,its not difficult to find accommodation in kathmandu but if you're looking single room its so hard.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

typical Nepali food=Dahal, rice, Curry and Pickle. if you want to go out you can order whatever you like... but it is spicy food.

What places would you recommend visiting in Katmandú?

According my personal, suggestion to you if you're natural lover please go to visit in ManangMustang, solukhumbhu, pokhara,Annapurna Base Camp so on.

Is it good to eat out in Katmandú? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

depend on the place. If you're going to remote area you can not get food in that time you have to carry by yourself.. But you dont need to buy water. You will get pure natural water. My favorite sports is Dandibio.

Is the nightlife good in Katmandú? Where is good to go?

yeah, There are.In Thamel and Darbarmarg.

What advice would you give future students heading to Katmandú?

if your parents can afford you yes you can do... there are totally route education system. But you can change.
