For further studies and the opportunity the big city provides.

Tedious and expensive. Occasionally fun especially during weekends.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Kathmandu to other students?

Yes. Although one needs to be thorough in their search.

What is the food like?

Newari khana, authentic Kathmandu food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Kathmandu?

No. It's fairly easy to find accommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Kathmandu?

15-20k Nrs in accomodation. 10-15k on food and transportation

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language is varied but English is widely spoken. The universities don't offer courses.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Kathmandu?

A varied range of bars and clubs offer services all throughout the week.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Kathmandu?

The local newari restaurants offer cheap and tasty food.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Kathmandu is known as the city of temples. There are variety of heritage sites too, Within every few km.
