What is it like to live in Kathmandu? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It's very tough to live in Kathmandu due to poor government system. Being a capital city the population is high and polluted too. In case of people health condition Kathmandu is not a good option.

What is the student lifestyle like in Kathmandu?

Student lifestyle is very normal in Kathmandu. Student just go to college on time and leave the schools on time. But in Kathmandu there is no any practical education. The education is totally based on books, theories and teachers.

How much does it cost to live in Kathmandu?

Normally to live a good life, a person should have around NRS. 25000-30000 on personal basis.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kathmandu? Is there any advice you can give?

It is very difficult to get a accommodation in Kathmandu. We can find accommodation through personal network. There is no any proper online services for finding accommodation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Foods of Kathmandu is very popular. Momo, Chowmein, Bara, Sukuti, Sekuwa etc are the famous food. Momo is my favorite dish but not only mine. Many people of Kathmandu prefer momo anywhere anytime.

What places would you recommend visiting in Kathmandu?

Pashupati,Swayambunath, Royal palace, Museum

Is it good to eat out in Kathmandu? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes its safe to eat out. My favorite spot are newroad, kapan.

Is the nightlife good in Kathmandu? Where is good to go?

There is no nightlife in Kathmandu. Its risky to go out especially for girls. But in Thamel, the bar opens till 12 AM.

What advice would you give future students heading to Kathmandu?

Education in Kathmandu is normal. In context of Nepal, just think before moving to Kathmandu.
