Living in Kampala could cost from UgX 300,000 or more a month. there are different housing options from apartments, to rentals (bungalows), to hostels and even more options with more people putting up accommodation options on AirBnb. The higher end options do have websites, however for the more affordable options, I'd advise one to first use the higher end options for a day or two and scout for cheaper options.

Kampala has different world cuisines ranging from Chinese to different African dishes. Within the local cuisine we have Matooke (a form of cooked banana), and a couple of other dishes.
