It is amazing, fun, active, very affordable to live in Kampala. The weather is excellent. The people are so friendly.

What is the student lifestyle like in Kampala?

It is fun.

How much does it cost to live in Kampala?

100usd or less per month. Food and accommodation is not that expensive. Depending on the location you choose.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Kampala? Is there any advice you can give?

No it is not difficult to find accommodation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

All kinds of food are within the city because of its diverse nature. But eating local food. (steamed matooke and chicken ) these are delicious

What places would you recommend visiting in Kampala?

Visit all national parks! Its quite cheap to do so. Many beautiful animals. Visit Kalangala Islands! Amazing place to get away from the city noise and take a break.
Visit the cinemas, with you come out with multiple friends.

Is it good to eat out in Kampala? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yesss, it is good to eat out in Kampala.
I love spicy food. So places like fang fang and Nijuan are my go to places.

Is the nightlife good in Kampala? Where is good to go?

People there party from monday to monday. No matter what time you get to club or pub. You will find all races, ages and colours there.

What advice would you give future students heading to Kampala?

Kampala is a fun place. The only advice i have is choose your friends wisely.
