How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
My Erasmus scholarship was 1 course (9 months) long.
I got:
What is the student lifestyle like in Jönköping?
AMAZING. AWESOME. There are a lot of parties and city life.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Jönköping to other students?
YES, to everyone.
What is the food like?
More expensive than in most countries (specially meat). Cheaper than Norway. Great food, especially salmon, Julmust and other typical dishes.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Jönköping?
No, the University arranged it for me (Raslätt).
How much does it cost to live in Jönköping?
~ 500-600€ / month should be your minimum.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Swedish is quite hard, especially if your language is not a germanic language and/or similar to Swedish (friends have told me it's quite easier if you can speak Dutch, German, etc. ).
Really easy to learn for Norwegians, Danish and Finnish people.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Jönköping from your city?
No economical way to do it. Plane.

Akademien for students.
Pub Centrum.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Jönköping?
Lots of after-works with buffet if you're starving!
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
The whole town is really beautiful. Sofia Kyrkan.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Jönköping in the future?
Best year of your life.
