It's a place really different that all I knew. Cold weather, just a few hours of daylight in Winter and the opposite in Summer, saunas, swimming into the frozen lake, Lapland...

9 months. Not enough

What is the student lifestyle like in Joensuu?

Like in other places with erasmus students, a lot of activities to do, meet a lot of people from different places around the world, parties...

Would you recommend the city and the University of Joensuu to other students?

For sure ! It was an amazing experience

What is the food like?

I didn't like too much their food, It's always a kind of soup with potatoes

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Joensuu?

No, I had the flat before I went there

How much does it cost to live in Joensuu?

It's difficult to explain, but in general, everything was more expensive (I mean If you compare with Spain). The alcohol price was the worst part of living in Finland.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

they had courses to learn Finnish

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Joensuu from your city?

Train or bus to go to Helsinki and go to the airport

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Joensuu?

Every club is funny, but if you don't want to waste a lot of money you should go to Jetset Bar

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Joensuu?

You should go to the city center and choose anyone there

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

mmm, markets ? arena stadium ? is not very cultural but I didn't visit any theatre or museum
